Paula Galletta-Duggar is the Owner of Glaze Beauty Boutique & Day Spa. Paula is a 1998 graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy. She earned her BS in education at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Paula’s love for fashion and beauty inspired her to create a luxurious atmosphere worthy of meeting all of your fashion, cosmetic and theraputic needs.
Melissa
Melissa Smith is the Salon and Spa Manager. She graduated from SEHS in 1999 and has lived in Rincon all of her life. She is in charge of organizing all staffs’ agendas by coordinating the daily flow and operations to keep the Salon and Spa running smoothly. Melissa makes sure that your experience with us is comfortable, relaxing and exceeds your needs through the highest standards of quality service, products and providers. Her bubbly personality, excellent customer service skills, great energy and love for people makes you feel welcomed! “One of the my favorite parts of this position is that I never miss out on seeing the amazing before and afters created by our talented staff. Ali
Ali Buechner is the Salon and Spa Receptionist. She graduated from ECHS in 2008 and is now attending the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Ali plans to get her B.S. in Biology and pursuing her carrer of Physicians Assistant. She has been with the Glaze team for over 2 years and plans to continue throughout her school career. Ali loves to make our clients feel welcomed when they arrive, pampered while they are here and refreshed as they leave.
PLATINUM STYLISTS
Mandy
Mandy Rahn is a Master Cosmetologist. She graduated at the top of her class from the Savannah School of Cosmetology. Mandy’s love for beauty has driven her to excel in all areas of cosmetology. Her strongest talents are in female cuts and color; though she is experienced in mens cuts as well. Mandy is very knowledgeable in haircare and is skilled in selecting the perfect products for your hairtype. Mandy enjoys being a part of the Glaze staff and helping people transform their look to the most up-to-date styles.
SILVER STYLISTS
Jennifer
Jennifer Gillespie is a Master Cosmetologist. She graduated from Glen Dow Academy in December of 2009. She is licensed in Georgia and Washington state and has had a passion for doing hair her whole life. Some of her favorite services are Men’s cuts, Women’s cuts and styles, UpDo’s and Colors. “I take pride in making people look good and love being apart of Glaze’s team”!
Melanie
Melanie Bray is a graduate of SEHS. Her senior year, she studied cosmetology courses at Savannah Technical College through dual enrollment, sparking her passion for the beauty industry. November of 2009, she joined the Glaze team as an apprentice and has grown and continues to grow immensly as both a stylist and artist. Melanie works in the areas of hair, skin, and nails, and her creativity ranging from simple and sophisticated to edgy and eccentric. “I am extremely passionate about what I do and it comes over into my work every time. My goal as a stylist is to ensure that everyone of my clients walk out looking as beautiful and fabulous on the outside as they feel on the inside!”
Brooke
Brooke Conley is a graduate of SEHS. Brooke has always had a love for making people look just as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. She specializes in color, cutting, up do’s and makeup artistry. Brooke has a natural ability to make people feel wonderful! “I am very passionite about my work and it really shows in my attention to detail.”
ESTHETICIAN
Lowery
Lowery Walker is our Esthetician. She was born and raised in Austin, TX and now lives in Guyton, GA with her husband and two kids. She completed her Esthetics training at South Carolina Massage and Esthetics Institute in 2007. Lowery has extra certification in chemical peels, ethnic skincare, microdermabrasion and camouflage makeup. Her desire to educate her clients as well as pamper them sets her apart from others in her field. Rachel
Rachel Durbin is the massage therapist. She is a Savannah native and graduated from The Savannah School of Massage Therapy in 2007. People are her true passion! Everyone who sees her is greeted with a smile and comforting words. “I believe that my true love for people contributes to the relaxing massage expierience!
